There was another way before it got patched. You could throw the boomerang so it would come back and hit the back of the Bat boss and do a ridiculous amount of hits for 1 damage. At higher difficulty the boss would have more health and give more exp before dying from all the 1 damage hits. You can rinse and repeat quickly since there are only a few enemies between the zone in and the boss.

you need lvl 256
So all you have to do is have a lvl 80 but could have potons to keep health up paid for by the loot drop from the boss? would be slower as the 80 dies but would still work ?

sorry i didnt get back to you quick ive been sick so anyways its a really good way and there is one other way wich is tad quicker with giraffe but can be harder to do
